Who We Are
Disc Bin ("we", "us", "our") is a personal film collection tracking app. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at discvaultapp@gmail.com.
What Data We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and Google profile information. We also store the data you add to the app — your collection, wish list, sets, and any notes you write.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features — saving your collection, enabling public profile sharing, and powering the wishlist and sets features. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties.
How Your Data Is Stored
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted on Google Cloud. Firebase's privacy policy can be found at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Public Profiles
If you choose to share your collection via a share link, your display name and collection will be viewable by anyone with that link. You control whether to share this link — it is never shared by us.
Third-Party Services
Disc Bin uses The Movie Database (TMDB) API to fetch movie and TV show artwork and information. TMDB's privacy policy is available at themoviedb.org/privacy-policy.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at discvaultapp@gmail.com. We will remove your data from our systems within 30 days of your request.
Children's Privacy
Disc Bin is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page.
